::Happy Thanksgiving::

:: Its thats time again, joining with friends and family to all celebrate what we are thankful for over a yummy warm meal and a big fat turkey! My favorite ( and you get turkey sandwiches for the next week too! ) As I was sitting in Church this morning I was thinking, do we really take the time to say what we are thankful for? do we really make it known what we are thankful for, friends, family, and do we tell them? I couldn't help but think that people may get so caught up in "the perfect dinner" that we forget what its all about. So before you have your turkey dinner tonight or tomorrow night, right after blessing the meal, take a few minutes as a family in silence and make sure that you thank the Lord for what matters to you and what He has provided you! And then dig in!!!!!!!!!

:: Happy One Year of being One! ::

:: On October 6th we celebrated our one year Anniversary! We got the same suite as we had on our wedding night at the Sheraton Hotel. Such fun! We had a nice day of running around and doing our errands since we were gone for the week before and just unpacked to pack up again for the night. We checked into the room and enjoyed a few chocolate covered strawberries left with a nice card from the hotel, and we then decided that we would go to Earls for dinner sine thats where Bobby's favorite meal is. We enjoyed a nice quiet dinner and then headed to the movies and cuddled up and watched it. I forget the name of the movie but it was ok. (My oreggo brain is on overdrive at times) After that was done we headed back to the hotel and stopped by their little lounge and shared a piece of cheesecake, yummy! It was about 10:00 and we decided that we would head upstairs and watch TV since we were both pooped form all the traveling and running around. After I got out of the washroom Bobby was standing there with out wedding cake in his hands that was frozen a year ago, and we had our bites all over again. So sweet!::
:: Looking back on the year I can't believe that the Lord has brought us here. So many thing that we have learned and the grace that He gives us to try to be the perfect other. Being married for a year and now we are expecting our first little blessing, our seasons are full.My life with Bobby is truly blessed and I just can't imagine loving anything the way that I love him. I am just so excited for what the next year holds for us, and know that everything is planned in His books. You make me the happiest and I am so blessed to be called your wife and to do life with you! Love yah babe! XOX

:: Busy, but I am here! ::

:: Well Vegas was fabulous! All the lights and action, wow. I have never seen anything like it. We did a lot of walking and hotel wondering, but also took advantage of the air conditioning cause it was HOT! Bobby spent a lot of time in the pool and I spent a lot of time sleeping (imagine that) We had such a wonderful time, and looking back on it I wished that it could have lasted longer. We ended up renting a car one day and went to Hoover Dam, the outlets, drove to the old part of Vegas and went for a nice dinner. I can't get over how much people eat down there. I mean the all you can eat buffet is like $12.95 and you have everything from crab, roast beef, steak, pasta, sushi and pretty much anything, and the size of the desserts, oh my! My sweet toothed husband could not even finish a piece of cake (it was more like half a cake) I have alot of pictures but for some reason my computer will not do the picture cube so you will have to enjoy the ones that I chose. I would love to go down again, but I am not sure how soon that will be with our little precious peach on the way::
:: After we got back from Vegas we went to the Island to visit with some friends for the weekend. Rod and Leah have planted a church their and we went to a service and just hung out with a few people that we have not seen for a few years. It was great and its so good to see the Lord moving on the Island. The Church was warm and loving and all the people their had such servants hearts. Thanks Rod and Leah for a great weekend and for opening your house to us. You guys are blessed and may the Lord continue His good works in you! ::
