:: Well not quite, but its up and coming. My husband lived here before we were married and let me tell you it was a major bachelor pad. Black leather everything! The house was so dark and suited well for a man/ Since we were married I have done little things here and their and it took him a while to get use to it. We are in the process of doing the laundry room and the kitchen. I have lots of ideas but the thing is is that we id not want to go all out because we are believing and praying about selling off some of our property and tearing down our house and building a new one. Sooo we didn't want to pour lots of money into it. So with our budget in mind I am going to town =) I love this sooo much but the most important part is that Bobby and I are in agreement with what I pick. I have already done our bedroom and the bathroom in our room and silly me did not take a before and after shot...booooo, I know, but I will see what I can come up with.I also have done the living room so I will be posting pictures of that later, just have to pick out some curtains and a accent color and fill in the picture frames. So my question to you is, do you know where I can get flooring for the kitchen and laundry room for a economical price :)?
::Well, hope you all had a wonderful Tuesday and I will try to post some pics tomorrow.::

YaY - redecorating time! So fun, and so much work too!
I don't know if you heard me honking as I drove by yesterday afternoon, your front window blinds were open....I can definitely tell that a woman and a lovely little girl live there now ;) {as well as a handsome man!}
I hear the flooring at Ikea is really affordable! Or you can look into getting some in the States - quite a bit cheaper even after paying duty at the border. As for getting someone to PUT the flooring in - do it yourself! Or you can hire someone to do it that USED to lay floors and will charge a much lower price (ahem... my husband...)But seriously, floors are pretty easy to lay these days - if Bobby's a handy man then he'll have NO problem figuring it out.
Oh, another great site for materials and such - Craigslist!!
You GO girl! That's one of my favourite things! Can't wait for B & A pictures!
3 cheers for a woman's touch! hip-hip-hooray! :)
We got flooring - laminate and peel-n-stick tiles - at Home Depot. The laminate was on sale and we got an awesome price on exactly the colour/width we wanted! Keep your eyes out for sales :) Also, try Curtis Lumber and Rona.
Hey there...I'm one of the 30-day challenge gals & a friend of Shawna's. I think you might even know my sister...Alison Wiebe? Did you maybe work together or something?? She mentioned it to me a while ago but I forgot to mention it on your blog...having said all that, my memory is REALLY bad (I have 2 kids!!) so if you aren't the gal she knows, I am SO sorry!!
Redecorating is fun! I am horrible at it but really appreciate what other people do.
